Different amount of nutrients and QUID %:
Kinder Pinguì is produced in two different plants, built over time first in Italy and later-on in Germany. The different technological needs and production feasibility requirements of these two plants require the use of a slightly different recipe. However, Ferrero considers these recipes to be of similar quality, also due to the minimum impact they both have on a daily diet. In fact, in several cases they are marketed indifferently in the same country.
Market research (available upon request) confirms that 2/3 (66%) of consumers do not recognize the difference between the two recipes and 69% show the same satisfaction rating.
Our study showed that this statement is correct, the sensory properties of the product are the same. But percentage lower content of milk, lactose and protein and increased sugar content in products sold in Slovakia do not contribute to the healthy nutrition of children.
Ingredients:
Indications of “Vegetable oil (palm, shea)” as labelled in the Czech Republic and Slovakia should be considered as a Ferrero mistake: it will be correct asap.
Our study showed that the measures promised by the manufacturer were met.
